The Pain & Sleep Therapy Center is looking for a Dental Assistant that wants to be part of our growing team and help continue to expand treatment offerings and services to all our patients. Our candidate must be willing to learn, have compassionate chairside manner, and most importantly want to change lives!

Essential duties for this position include but are not limited to:
- patient education throughout each appointment
- ability to understand in depth the different types of treatment offerings and aligning to desired patient outcomes
- comprehensive examinations and data collection
- detailed and accurate chart noting and appointment notes
- ability to be trained in using state of the art technology
- working together with the team and our providers to ensure all needs of the patients are met
Assist the providers during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
- Take dental radiographs/CT scans (x-rays)
- Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide patients with instructions for care following all treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain overall health
- Perform various office tasks as necessary
Qualifications and Skills
- Radiology Certificate
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs and technology quickly
- Reliable, loyal, punctual
- Attention to detail and organized
- Team player, a problem solver, takes initiative & personal responsibility
