Freedom Dental Health is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Financial Reconciliation Specialist to join our entrepreneurial team. Key Responsibilities:
● Accounts Payable: Process and manage vendor payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
● Daily Reconciliation: Reconcile transactions from practice management systems to bank accounts, maintaining clean and accurate financial records.
● Expense Categorization: Organize and categorize expenses for reporting and compliance purposes.
● Payroll: Input payroll, process changes, handle payroll taxes, and ensure timely payments.
● Financial Reporting:
- Prepare budgets, reconciliation reports, and financial scorecards.
- Present financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to leadership.
● Compliance: Ensure adherence to HIPAA, HITECH, and federal/state regulations.
● Collaborate with accounting firms and third-party agencies to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications:
● Experience:
- 5+ years in accounting or bookkeeping (preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is essential.
- Prior experience with NetSuite is a bonus as we transition to this platform.
● Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, receivable, and payroll functions.
- Advanced Excel and Google Workspace skills are preferred.
- Effective communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
● Education:
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
