As we wrapped up 2025, our FDHS Holiday Appreciation Series celebrated what makes our organization thrive, strong collaboration between our specialty and general dentistry teams.
One specialist from each specialty recorded a short holiday thank-you video to show appreciation for the referrals, trust, and teamwork shared throughout the year. The response was incredible.

Community Outreach>
Care Beyond the Chair – January Care Kits Drive
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire Freedom Dental Health System family for the generosity and teamwork shown during our January Care Kits Drive.
Throughout this month, FDHS partnered with the Phoenix Family Resource Center to collect essential personal care items that will be assembled into Care Kits for individuals and families in need throughout our community. Thanks to your collective efforts, everyday essentials – from toothbrushes and toothpaste to hygiene and self-care items, were donated across the organization, each one representing dignity, compassion, and care in action.
This initiative marks the start of our 2026 monthly community outreach efforts and serves as a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together with a shared purpose. Thank you for showing up, supporting one another, and continuing to make a meaningful impact beyond the walls of our practices.
Because of the generosity of our teams across FDHS, these Care Kits will help provide comfort, confidence, and support to individuals and families who need it most.
“Love in Every Stitch” – February Drive
This February, FDHS is sharing warmth, comfort, and care through our Love in Every Stitch community initiative. Throughout the month, we are collecting new or gently used cozy essentials, such as blankets, socks, pajamas, slippers, and throws – to support individuals and families in need within our community.
Each donation helps wrap someone in comfort and serves as a reminder that they are cared for. Thank you for spreading love, one stitch at a time.
Advancing Care: FDHS Continuing Education & Development>
Align Technology CE Event Compelling Conversations, Scanning Secrets & Successful Case Conversion
Thank you to everyone who made it a priority to attend Compelling Conversations, Scanning Secrets & Successful Case Conversion, our January 9 FDHS Continuing Education event hosted in partnership with Align Technology.
This complimentary 3-CE program provided valuable insight into malocclusion, airway considerations, early intervention, and advanced digital scanning tools, reinforcing the power of strong clinical communication and modern workflows to drive better patient outcomes and case acceptance. We’re grateful to our Align partners and all who participated, and we look forward to continuing to advance care together through future CE opportunities.
Give Kids a Smile®: A Day That Makes a Real Difference>
Free Dental Care Event
On Saturday, February 28th, from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM EST, FDHS is coming together at West Dover Dental to make a powerful impact on our Delaware community.
As part of the Give Kids a Smile® (GKAS) program, our teams will provide free dental education, screenings, and treatment to children 18 and under who do not currently have dental insurance. This is more than an event, it’s a chance to remove barriers to care, create healthy habits early, and show families that Freedom truly cares.
To make this day a success, we need YOU. We are in the final stages of confirming our doctor, hygienist, dental assistant, and administrative volunteer teams, and we encourage anyone interested to sign up as soon as possible. Whether you’re clinical or administrative, your time and presence will help create a welcoming, supportive experience for every child and family we serve.
Important Ask for Our FDHS Team:
Please help us spread the word by sharing the GKAS patient flyer with families, schools, community partners, and anyone you know who may benefit. The flyer includes a QR code that allows uninsured families to easily register their children for care. Click the link below to download the flyer:
This is our opportunity to give back in a big way, live out our mission, and ensure that children in our community can prioritize their oral health, regardless of circumstance. Let’s rally together, show up strong, and help create hundreds of healthy smiles.
Thank you for being part of what makes Freedom special.
